I Heart Lanvin...

While on my trip to Paris I visited the Lanvin store......and fell in love! The clothes were just beautiful.

I think these dresses from Stéphane Rolland's Winter 09/10 collection are stunning. The grey dress above was among my favourites. The use of light, flowing fabrics combined with tough, structured detailing on the cuff, waist and shoulder creates a modern look.

Wearing a dress as dramatic yet elegant as this would just make you feel amazing and after paying around £30,000 it would be expected.............

Has Privé gone Gaga?

I think that the outfits worn by Lady Gaga to the Grammy Awards deserve to be called works of art rather than pieces of clothing. All of her outfits were designed by Giorgio Armani who gave her an "out of this world", extreme modern look. Fashion has helped Gaga to create her image as an unconventional, unique music artist. Clothing can easily shape the public perception of celebrities. This is a fact that Gaga has used to her advantage, quickly gaining a place in the spotlight due to her outlandish, daring outfits. They may not be to everyone's taste but they definately draw attention whether it be positive or negative.
